About HIFHUB

Supporting a Movement on Humanitarian Finance

Beyond Grants

Innovative finance is complementing traditional funding to better serve crisis-affected populations. The innovation lies in applying established instruments – eg. insurance, bonds, funds – in humanitarian settings.

Looking beyond grants is no longer optional. Traditional funding alone cannot meet the world’s growing humanitarian needs. We need new sources of capital and multiplier effects to expand the impact and sustainability of our interventions.
