AidEx Nairobi

As the humanitarian and development “reset” impacts organisations across East Africa, these organisations face growing pressure to redefine their roles, strengthen efficiency and adapt to a rapidly shifting landscape. This year’s AidEx Nairobi examines how scalable innovative and locally led solutions, evolving multi-stakeholder partnerships approaches with private, philanthropy and public sector, and new financing models can support more resilient, equitable and sustainable responses.

HIFHUB partners will be on the ground in Nairobi. On the first day, 3 June 2026, from 15.00–16.00 local time, Safia Verjee, Executive Director of the International Center for Humanitarian Affairs (ICHA), Kenya Red Cross Society, joins the Breaking the endless cycle panel to explore whether anticipatory action and disaster risk financing are ready to move East Africa beyond crisis response.

The event is finished.
