Webinar: Humanitarian Blended Finance

The next session in the Humanitarian Innovative Finance Webinar Series is focused on a timely topic: Humanitarian Blended Finance (HBF). As humanitarian needs become increasingly long-term and complex, there is a growing need to mobilise and align humanitarian, public, and private resources in more strategic ways. Humanitarian Blended Finance (HBF) offers one such approach, supporting sustainable impact through innovative partnerships and financing models.

This session will:

• Introduce the concept of HBF and its relevance to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement
  Share practical examples from humanitarian settings
• Explore four key roles humanitarian actors can play: advising, convening, enabling, and implementing
• Highlight entry points for National Societies, including pipeline development and cross-sector collaboration
