The review draws on desk research covering publicly available information on relevant bonds launched in recent years, along with published evaluations and perspectives from a wide range of actors – from organisations directly involved in these instruments to independent scholars.

By consolidating lessons learned, opportunities, and challenges, the review aims to support decision-makers in determining whether – and how – such results-based financing mechanisms could strengthen the impact, efficiency, and sustainability of their initiatives.

You can download the full presentation above and explore whether impact bonds might play a role in your own strategy for mobilising resources beyond grants.
