Fatima brings more than a decade of experience across development finance and impact investing, with a particular focus on Africa’s sustainable investment landscape. She joins us from British International Investment (BII), where she advised on impact-driven investments across industry, technology, infrastructure and services.
Earlier, she worked at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), leading initiatives on SDG-aligned investment, blended finance, private-sector engagement and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). That work included developing pipelines for SDG-aligned investments, experience that connects directly to the role she now takes up with us. A certified trainer on the SDG Impact Standards, she brings deep expertise in impact measurement and management, and a track record of connecting capital with local solutions. Expertise she is keen to apply in the humanitarian and fragile settings where HIFHUB works.
