New Webinar Series to Help National Societies Navigate Humanitarian Innovative Finance

In a rapidly evolving financial landscape, humanitarian organisations, including Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies, are facing a deepening funding crisis. Traditional sources of humanitarian aid are becoming increasingly unpredictable, while the scale and complexity of crises continue to grow.

That’s why we have launched a new webinar series in 2025, designed to support National Societies in identifying potential innovative finance solutions to address the challenges they are faced with. Participants will gain practical insights into innovative finance, engage in dialogue with experts and peers, and explore actionable strategies to strengthen financial sustainability.

Structured as a series of interactive sessions, each webinar focus on a critical aspect of humanitarian innovative finance, with a strong Red Cross Red Crescent lens:

  1. Humanitarian Innovative Finance: Solutions Beyond Grants
  2. Humanitarian Insurance: Leveraging Risk-sharing to Unlock Additional Resources
  3. The Impact of Islamic Philanthropy
  4. Humanitarian Blended Finance (HBF)

HIFHUB is committed to expanding the use of financial instruments to address humanitarian challenges. Through the development of a portfolio of investible projects, strengthening organisational capacity, and fostering partnerships and sector-wide support, we aim to amplify the impact of humanitarian interventions.

The webinars are virtual (via MS Teams) and will be scheduled to accommodate participants across different time zones. For more details, upcoming session dates, and registration please visit the IFRC Resource Mobilisation Community (RMC)
